Will this work with the orbiter v2?

From the Author: I am in the process of creating a v2 mount, but no the current v1.5 version will not work with the v2 orbiter. It's changed so much that nothing fits. I am finishing a universal PCB mount for the chain anchor for the v1.5 and then I'll start again on the V2. I bought a v2 so I should have one in the next few days so I can experiment with it.

Hi there, is it possible to use with Orbiter 2.0 already? Thank you

I'm curious as well as I just got the v2 and hope to try it 🙂

Hi all, I am the original author of this orbiter mount. I have a v2 currently in alpha for testing. I will release the latest version to the github soon. I have a few issues to work out and I will release it as a stable build.

I've attached some images of the current design.

Will this work with ERCF? It needs a filament sensor after the gears. A mod exists for Galileo, so I'm hoping a similar solution will be developed for 2.0. Thanks for your work!

I can not wait anymore.

I assume that is a comment of praise as you are excited and not a negative "knock" on the author who provides their hard work for free for us to enjoy.

I'm just looking forward the new version

even looks like a ‘knock‘ the ‘’pressure‘’ is widely regarded as a compliment

I'll take a look at the galileo mod and see if it could work for the v2. Thanks for bring it to my attention.

Question for the group: Are you planning on upgrading to the Steathburner with the orbiter v2 when it's released or are you sticking with the current Afterburner setup? I'm curious to how to continue designing the orbiter v2 into the voron ecosystem with multiple toolhead mounts.

Rejoice! @rizita!

@spacelab_2021has graciously allowed me to share file for the pre-release beta version of the Orbiter 2 Clockwork mod.

It can be found here....

Thank you!I have downloaded

In the beginning I thought there was no space for v2 (stealthburner_main_body needs to be modified)

As result it's not required

After looking at the Galileo mod, it uses a endstop sensor and a 7mm Bearing Ball. I think it should be easy enough to add to the mount base and just run the wires up.

Now, the question is do you have access to 7mm Bearing Balls? I can design one and get some to test it out with.

Is there an Igus version of the cable chain anchor for Voron 2.4 and Orbiter 1.5?  I am sure that it can be modified from the STEP file, but that is beyond my abilities.
