They are saying the 600g force causes too much flex. But I'm pretty sure I recall mention of something being worked on.

Ah well first I need to finish my build to have at least one "normal" Standart voron but I'm after this idea pretty much. Ist a good start and I'm exited about how it will go further.

It's a good idea for printers like the xy core with a fixed bed.

Im not the a fan of the grey/yellow combo, but this gray looks like... awesome smooth...

Is it correct that TAP will require a mgn12h x axis or will it work with single mgn9?

That's what the design team say: mgn12 only. Probably for the additional stability.

@Buurman you mean Steve's printer? That is an unusually bold color pick for him. He said the grey is Polymaker and it is super nice. I'm printing some of their gray PolyTerra PLA and it's beautiful.

A cross roller guide would also make an excellent and compact method of movement. 

They are only 8mm in height, so a nice low profile

With a density of steel at 7850 kg/m3 and the dimensions shown, the set of four pieces would weigh 100.5g if they were just simple solid bars.

Cool! I'll need to carefully read to see which PCB I need (5V or 24V). Then I can order that and the hardware kit from KB-3D. Amusingly I really only need the M3 steel flathead and M3x6 button heads, but the kit is cheaper than packs of those individually.

Get the 24V, that works with all voltages below incl. 5V, so no disadvantage other than availability...

Yeah, I ordered the 24-5v one just to be on the safe side cause I have horrible luck. Rather wait an extra week than have to turn around and order another PCB due to my fault.

Yep. I thoroughly read the manual and caught a couple of posts on the new Voron forum. I have the V2 24V PCB and the hardware kit on order from KB-3D. HoneyBadger 50mm MGN9H rail & carriage are already sitting here.

The manual is worth the read. Someone was getting a bit rummy writing it and it's entertaining. I especially LOLed at the "front fell off" comment.

Ok, build on support is impossible to take off with Carbon filament. probably need to try normal ASA.

I dont like added support, I rather use my own if needed to be honest.
