yeah, this is making me very curious too, now I have a 0.1 kit standing here, but I now wanna see this creation before building it, see if I need to order more motors 😛

And belts, and stuff!! hahaha

Has been a challenging build. There were no instructions on the tri-zero build (Build manual) , only the cad file which was a pain to build from. Got there in the end. Currently struggling to get the zero-click probe to properly align with the dock. Is about 2mm out. Printing some other docks then try again. I would probably suggest just building the stock standard V0.1 - great little printer as they are. To convert to a tri zero later won't be that difficult.

Unfortunately the next 3 weeks are going to be hectic, work wise so not much build time.

I was about ask if you'd developed a love of crimping then read you comment about the pre-supplied harness.

You know I hate crimping. The effects of that was my entry ticket to the GOM club 😂

Well after three years of avoiding Covid, it struck just prior to me getting on a plane for the first holiday in 3 years. And then you wonder why I am a grumpy old man. At least gave me some time to spend on the build.

Electronics done:

Not much space as previously said. Wiring as tidy as I can get it in this small space.

Power bay done:

Because of limited space in the electronics compartment, I mounted the raspi pi behind the wave share screen by just using the extension legs from the screen mount. Two cooling fans in the bay should keep it cool. And the cavities in the feet are for .......  squash balls!!!

All initial test seems to be working  - it heats, cools and all steppers do what they supposed to. Initial testing of auto Z-Tilt calibration (Gantry levelling) and auto-z height working as expected: (I deliberately tilted the front left corner to exacerbate the angle on the bed to demonstrate gantry levelling)

Enclosure done. Decided I don’t like the top hat as the umbilical rubs against it. I will possibly replace it with one of the mods available

You also have something like an infill right, so you can put LEDS in that space and the hat goes up a little...

I should not be so lazy, I meant something like this, with a link 😛

Makes my fingers itch to build this 0.1, but finishing my current project first.. and then another 2.4, but maybe, just maybe the 0.1 first...

Thanks - saw that. Looking at putting in an extension between printer and top hat that won’t involve reprinting too many parts. Looking at the BioxZero mod,, but it needs 300mm 1515 extrusions which I am trying to source here in Australia.

Pfew, that render looks amazing of the V0.1...  I will come back here when I start and decide where I will go with this V0.1... I fear the worse...

@Buurman Stop pretending we know you're ordered the parts. Resistence is futile (as they say in other realms), you're just going to have to give in to @mvdveer luring....(granted I say that not having finished my own last V0.1....I started this holiday week with good intentions but spent it sorting out the hall cupboard and other pockets of hoarding).

True, box is standing right next to me... calling me... do it... do it! DO IT!!

Looking at mods I want and if I need to order things to make them work...

I also want to raise the tophat I think, and if possible without needing frame parts... Thinking about this one:

https://github.com/VoronDesign/VoronUsers/tree/master/printer_mods/golas/v0-extended-tophat-hinge

And possibly, 3 belts version... not sure what I need for that in parts... need to look into that..

You need two spare motors , two extra linear rails and some extra GT2 belts, and 3 x 16T pulleys and fasteners basically.  I just used two motors I had from an old Creality printer and belt left over from other builds. Only part I ordered was the two extra linear rails. And obviously a board that will run it all, or adding a BTT Pico in addition to the SKR mini.

BOM is here:

Got the stealthburner mini assembled with Voron Revo hotend, tuned rotation distance, PID tuning, pressure advance, Extrusion factor and got the XYZ calibration cube done.

Pretty happy with the results. Unfortunately, I damaged the LED's when assembling them in the Stealthburner (Fat finger syndrome) and am awaiting a new batch.

IMG_3231.thumb.jpeg.041240a9ec7efbeb3fedcb5c51fbf1ab.jpeg

So the twist is:

A Voron 0 with the following mods:

1. Tripple Z-Belted motors

2. Nevermore Micro Duo

3. Mini Stealthburner with Voron Revo hotend

4. Sexbolt endstop

5. Zero- panels - (Click in and out - no screws)

6. ZeroClick as a probe

7. 4.3" Waveshare Klipperscreen

8.  Auto Z calibration

9. Squashball feet

10. Octopus Board with TMC2209 steppers

Looking great. When you raise the tophat it will really tower over your blue V0.1!

Everything is very tight in the mini Stealth. I've gone through a few LEDs while prototyping.

Cannot source any aluminium 1515 profile locally and sourcing from abroad lists delivery by 14 December. Thus printing some, just for an extension to the tophat. Ordered some LED's - should be here in 3 weeks.

Love it, @mvdveer where did you get the V0 panzerballs feet? cant seem to find it... like the way they look!

@Buurman These are not specific to the V0, but works with the Tr-Zero Mod as the skirts are a bit bigger than the standard V0 mod.

I printed and used these:

Here are some other good ones to use:

Went for the TipTop hat mod (https://github.com/VoronDesign/VoronUsers/tree/master/printer_mods/chirpy/TipTophat ), didn't feel like cutting more acrylic. Next to crimping it is the worse. This uses the existing panels and gives enough clearance. Also liked the door to access the Toolhead
