Fabreeko Salad Fork Build

Hello everyone, this is my first build diary, so I apologize in advance for any unclear photos or text. I will be building a Salad Fork, which is basically a scaled down VORON Trident that uses 1515 extrusions. So far, I’ve completed the frame and z motion/bed.

Currently mounting the AB motors and pulleys

Finished the AB motor mounts, also prepped some parts for the Idlers. However, I will have to resolder the Y limit switch wires, as they wouldn’t fit through the cutout on the A motor mount parts

XY motion and Bed complete! I had a couple issues here and there, like having to reprint the parts for the z end stop and z spacer, but overall these steps were very smooth. Next up is finishing the cable chain and working on the mini SB

It turns out that the salad fork AB motor wires are WAY too short to reach the electronics bay. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this without ordering new ones?

Get out the wire stretcher? 

But seriously, two options immediately come to mind. One, cut them shorter and crimp some connectors, then build patch cables to reach to the controller. The other is to clip off the connector and solder on extensions in between.

Mounting the DIN rails, I think that I’m going to push the power supply towards the two front z motors, and mount the motherboard as close as possible to the back z motor, because several cables, like the bed, barely reach.

Mounted the TPU printed feet, spliced the motor cables, and started the klicky build.

Would anybody be willing to help me write a config file for the SF? I’ve never done it before
