sb2209 rp2040 looses connectivity after a few power cycles

Question

Hi FDM people,

New to the forum and will try to give as much info on the issue as possible. Just got my v2.4 up an running after many months of building. It has an octopus 1.1, rpi 3b, sb2209. Got everything up and running got the first print in not good but some fine tuning will take care of that.

the canbus was working great until after 5 or so power cycles the sb2209 connection error, this has happened on 3 different 2209s. When this happens I got into katapult and no UUID, in mainsail I check for can devices and nothing not even the oct 1.1. reflash and reconfig still no UUID. Tried using a modified cat 6 cable thinking maybe noise on the H,L lines and still no UUID for the 2209. I do get one for the oct 1.1 every time. so frustrated I went back to hard wire for now until this is figured out. I find it hard to believe it is the 2209 after replacing it 3 times. I have a new to play with outside as standalone.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
