Voron 2.4r2 Ldo stepper motor kit, question about current.

Question

Hi. My build is almost completed and i have a question about setting correct current values for ldo motors

At the moment my Z drives motors  1.8° ldo-42sth48-2004ac are set at  0.8A   (max current is 2A)

A-B motors are  0.9° ht ldo-42sth48-2004 mah(vrn) current set  at 0.8A   (max current is 2A)

Extruder  1.8° ldo-36sth20-1004ahg(vrn) current set 0.8A  (max curent is 1A)

For a heavy gantry (CNC parts) and a Z drives holding it 0.8A seems way to low. So can anyone suggest what would be correct value to set in printer.cfg.

Thanks.

Hi and thanks for fast reply. I was thinking like 1.2A on AB motors and Z drives. 0.8A must be a default value in printer.cfg. It does works but its on limit with torque on Z drives. Extruder motor is fine max current is 1A and set current is 0.8A. So its good to go,so to say. 🙂
