Hello Team FDM (not so short n sweet V1.0)

Alrighty... first off I want to start by say thankyou for having me. I have been trying to keep up on some of the convos and updates but alas you fine gents here at Team FDM move as fast as your printers do. 

So A little bit about me. 

I wanna get this out of the way some of you can probably relate. I'm a neurodivergent. More specifically Audhd. That being said Im try to keep thing short and sweet but never happens like that. 

So on August 1st of 25 I had a pretty rough motorcycle accident to which Im still trying to recover from. So I put this out there not as search for attention but as an core part of what got me to this point. 

So long story short got a payout on my bike and and while I was laid up I can remember thinking that I never asked the government for anything and when I finally do they kinda drop a hot one on me. So I told myself I was going to find a way to do something so that I wouldn't continue to work for someone else's means and ultimately be at their mercy. 

So I was DSing through YT and I saw some that looked like a pretty stream line box siting in the corner. It happened to be a bambu H2D and wouldn't ya know that light bulb turned on...yep time to hyper focus. I started reaching. Days and days on end before I settled on a Snapmaker Artisan premium. 

Yep good ol-fashioned Run a marathon before you can crawl. Yep full steam a head and derail the train till I figure it out. 

So moving on... I actually own 3 now.  The artisan, An AC S1c, and my latest, a sovol sv08. My goal its to not only  convert the 2 core XYs but build a voron. But not just any... In true form of "lets do mach jesus into a wall and hope I learn magic before I get yhere" I want to build the new Phoenix. 

Sidenote hi have a big thing for the  Phoenix (the firebird) that is. As of right now Im accruing parts to go big and not only make it Idex but attach an MMU/MMC but do it on a full meter scale.... se I told you mach jesus into a wall...

Welcome. When I started on this journey, I set out to build every Voron model there is. This I now have achieved by finishing the Tridex, but alas...... The Phoenix - will I attempt it - probably not as I do not have the space to put it (With 15 printers) and all.  So I am really looking forward to your journey. Please feel free to share your experience with the beast called the Phoenix

I want to say I have no Idea where to begin with that big bird. However I do want to throw our a couple of new Ideas I don't think have been tried. 

The Phoenix's gantry is massive. And whats more Heavy. Im curious has any one tried Mag Lev Rails. 

Also 

Im thinking of developing a hard rubber drive wheel. Using high temp silicone and some sort of carbon nano compound. The reason is i find that so many people gripe about stripping and ribbing effects in the prints. 

What do you gents think
