One of the difficulties I find in our hobby is cutting short aluminum billets. This was posted on Facebook. This mod makes sense (safe) to me. This is what he posted: "I extended the jaws up to the blade. Then, I added a screw to the back jaw to level the jaws while cutting short pieces. The trigger switch to start the blade does not have a lock, so I wired-tied the trigger and added an external switch to the cord. The saw has plenty of weight to push itself through the work; however, once through it would slam down and bottom out. Lastly, I made a stop, so once it cuts through, it only has about 1/8" to fall."
