I came down this morning expecting to clear a plate full of parts. Instead, I found this.

   

My first blob monster. After disassembly, it could have been worse. Really, it's only the heater, nozzle, and spring that are encased. No printer part broken, which is kind of amazing. It did knock the Klicky probe off its dock and the purge bucket off its seat. I'll need to re-glue the dock retainer magnet into the probe.

It's really an impressive blob, almost artistic. ...

Wow, very pretty! You've taken the loss of the revo "core" parts really well

Well, it could have been (a lot) worse. Also, I'm not completely convinced they are a loss yet. Finally, stuff happens, getting all upset about it won't help.

The main annoyance is I've been running the printer a lot lately so this throws it offline for several days. Fortunately, the RC project has gotten pretty stable and it is ready for this weekend. I also have the Prusa Mini to run any parts I *must* do until the Trident is back up. As Nero says "2 printers is 1 and 1 is none"

Replacements arrived yesterday and the printer is back together. I superglued the Klicky probe mount for now and it seems ok. I'll print up the KlickyNG parts and replace the probe, dock, and tool head mount to be safe. Except for plugging the heater & thermistor wires swapped, it was painless. I also now have my garolite build plate all set up.

The silver lining is this awesome blob won Nero's Time to Fail channel contest for September.  So, some swag coming my way (t-shirt & roll of Polymaker filament). I also resolved a new error KlipperScreen was throwing since updating, and added some macro buttons I've been meaning to. So, I made some lemonade out of this.
