UPDATE 11/12/25

Figured I would update everyone on how the printer has been working since the updates.  Primary concern to me was the conversion to CAN bus.  There was a lot of discussions out there around random drops of the bus, especially if you are running on the 64Bit OS.  So far, with lots of print hours on the printer I have had zero drops in the CAN bus running the latest OS.  Hardest part I have had so far is managing the can bus wire.  I used some spring steel and it works....okish.

Only issue I have had is that the toolhead has an odd clicking sound.  Its not the extruder as prints come out perfect with no gaps or missing extrusions.  I also tested this by printing several single layer, full bed sheets and they come out perfect as well.  Its just this random, odd, click.  My current theory is that its from the heat set insert that is in the filament path as part of the filament cutter system I installed on it for the future use of the box turtle.  I plan to pull the tool head and make sure I drilled the heat set insert correctly.  I think there is a small bit left that is causing the clicking as the filament rides on it.

Once I resolve the above clicking I am going to install the box turtle and start working on that project.  For now, its been busy printing random stuff.
