Mine is fused at 10amps as well. 14 gauge is adequate, 10amps on motor start up for 220V VFD works with that size wire and fuse. You'll blow the glass fuse before tripping the breaker. If you replace the fuse at any time, make sure it is a slow-blow fuse.

Someone in Discord designed these to help tram the Z column. I'm planning on milling these eventually, but I 3D printed them for now to test fit. It uses an M3 button/socket screw with two Nyloc nuts and a heat insert. Two on per side is shown in the CAD.

Tramming the column is a "rough" tram; the final tram is done on the spindle.

There are two scylla firmware download 24V config and 48V config. Which one to download. Tried to find references but no luck. Help please... My plan was in way to follow PFarm's electrical configuration. If I understand it correctly. 24v PSU to scylla, 12v PSU to fans and relays, and 36v PSU (I'll use 48v) to stepper motor.  Thanks

Download the 48V configuration it has higher speeds for the stepper motors. A note on the 12V for fans those are wired directly to the PSU, no control from Scylla. I've wired 24V to the V-Mos for Aux. circuit control.

Ah I see. Just got 2 12V 120mm fan and I am thinking on getting one of those misting unit on Amazon and they come with a 12V solenoid. Also want to add LED to light the work piece. I thought I would control them with the board.

Just attempting to flash the board.. this is definitely taking some time...

Whatever voltage works for you, mist and coolant have dedicated ports, but air runs off any Aux port except Aux 0, which is dedicated to fans. It does take a while for the Milo AP to come up in your network.

Ha ha how long is "take a while" to flash this board. It's been about 20 min already and still no blue light. just to check..

I downloaded the 48V version (seems it unzip itself to my download document)

copied and pasted these downloaded files onto the SSD

Plugged the SSD to the Scylla board then power it up via USB

Did I do that right? thanks

The rrf-milo-v1 folder doesn't belong on the SD card. These are the files that should be on the card.

Since I have to wait for the 220v spindle and VFD from KB3D, I decided to wait with the tramming and build the Casa and finish the connections there instead of temporary mounting the components. Completed the outside frame assembly with some added brackets and modified Milo support extrusion.

Corner brackets added on all 8 corners to provide added structural stiffness. Don't know yet if they will obstruct panel installations. Hope not...

Replaced the 2040 extrusion that was to support the Milo with 2060. I wanted to have 20mm support under milo's front and rear monoskirt. Blind mounting holes are also added to secure support extrusion to the frame. 

Onward with the build...

Got the Milo in the house... Started planning the wiring but placement of the electrical/electronic components are  more challenging than I thought.. The 220 G-penny Spindle and VFD is arriving today so perfect timing for placement fitting inside the electronics bay.

Took a little while to figure out how to wire the milo to the casa with the added components. Finally plunged in and cut the OEM wires and solder the aviation plugs. Mounted the plugs on the side towards the back.

Changed the OEM Power cord socket to 240V socket, Individual fuse holder, and 32A on/off switch which is connected in series to the front switch.

Wring of the components are completed. What's left are all connections to Scylla.

I think I am clear about the the motors and power connections to Scylla. I wanted to ask if I got this correct, for the limit switches: Y=PA8 and GND, X= PD11 and GND, and Z=PC7 and GND. For the touch probe and tool setter. still trying to figure out. Thanks

Here is my endstop setup:

And this is the toolsetter; yours is the toolsetter supplied by LDO I assume.

You need to set the voltage you want to supply to both the toolsetter and the touch probe using the jumpers for those circuits. I used 24V, as there is a lower chance of interference.

Ok, finally got it wired up to the point where I can turn it on and power up scylla... 😅... Can I turn it on without getting the magic smoke!!! Here's how I wired it Following V2 wiring diagram .. Please check for something that is not right... Thanks

I am still trying to figure out how to install an RCBO on a split phase 240V without neutral wire. I want to replace the standard breaker with it if I can.

Another thing is the VFD I got. G-Penny 220v 2.2Kw... I tried to find reference as to how to wire it to Scylla but no luck. I tried to compare the schematic to Huanyang HY02D223B and YL620A VFD posted and solved by Pfarm but there is one confusing difference, there is an adjustable resistor on the other end of the potentiometer and labelled 12+ power supply.

Looking at the terminal description, I was thinking AVR=P12, PWM=AI1, SPD-GRD=GND, SP-COM=GND, ENA=X1, Dir=X2
