What voltage is your water pump? Do you run any fans in your setup?

The water pump is a submerged pump in a container of water that recirculates not ideal but works. This is 240 volt however open to upgrade ideas.

I think once i can see everything is working as it should be axis wise limits etc i will upgrade the bits i we feel to be shortfalls in its operation / construction the cooling being one of them.

If the electronics go in a project box a fan to circulate would be a good idea.

I suppose what i am getting at i dont want to throw more money at it just now until the scylla / reprap side of things are reliable / repeatable

Does it presently turn on when VFD is turned on?

In this link scroll down to 3.6.0 Beta and download the RepRapFirmwareWifi.zip file extract the files, then extract the BTTScylla.zip file. Go to Machine Specific and click on Install Update a window will open and point to where you downloaded the Scylla zip file and click ok. It will ask if you want to install the update click yes. You'll get an incompatible error when it reboots because we need to update the Millennium OS file.

In this link download the Millennium OS V0.50 go to System and click on the Upload System Files window pop-up point to where the Millennium OS V0.50 is downloaded click ok and the files will upload. M999 in the console will reboot the Scylla.

You should see this in the Machine Specific when you install both files

In System find the user-config.g example and rename it user-config.g. Click on the user-config.g and type the following for the spindle and save it. Then M999.

I have a touch probe but not a tool setter.

I'd suggest getting a tool setter to make tool changes much easier. I'm using this type in my setup. Can you show my what type of touch probe you have please.

The Fusion 360 file if for uploading machine info to Fusion 360 but yours is not a Milo so you have to setup your machine info in Fusion 360. If you're using a different cam software ignore the Fusion file.

Was the millennium update supposed to update the duet web control ?

See the link above to download and install in the system section then use "Upload System Files" to load the V0.5.0 zip files
