Low power warnings on orca

Recommended Posts

Hi getting low power warning coming up on orca but when I click on the message dose not tell me were the low power is coming from

So my thoughts are could be the canbis sb 2209 boars the octpuss pro

I don't think it is the pi as would have thought it would be getting more upset and it has its own power supply

Is it possible the the psu is derating it self cause is getting to hot is a meanwell psu brought from a 3d printer supplier in Australia so should be genuine 🤔 it is very hot here atm like 40 deg out side and well hotter than that in the shed

Is not stopping prints just slows down some times and I cannot flip the printer as I am doing a print atm so cannot I'd what size the psu is

Some kind of strain relief would be good, it looks like that cable is getting pulled a bit. If the issue persists you can try adding another 5V wire--the blank in between the existing two. I had some intermittent undervolt warnings on mine until I connected both 5V wires.

Ok will keep that in mind is a far amount if slack there just pic is not showing it I think the weight of the cable and normal printing giggles made it come lose I was checking all cables on psu etc were tight and that one came off with little to no effort I have fitted a couple of cable ties in through that plug and around the pi5 and one as a bit of strain relief  the print I am doing atm has no low power warning but might be like yours every now and then

will keep an eye on it did something odd during print was like it blocked up The print head mid print and just keeped going but no plastic

Is translucent pla so put temp up 5 more deg just in case this stuff is a but harder 🤔 it did this the other day same plastic I thought it was the power issue
