Your can connect it to the BLTouch port yes, or any free pin (Not any of the thermistor pins though). I also just read on the diagram above that if you use a seperate5V, then Octopus and the Neopixels MUST share a common ground.

On the neopixels you need to ensure that the connections is 5V,GND,SIG   OUT    of first pixel connected to   IN   of second pixel, etc, (I am sure you have done that but just check, as I had one wired incorrectly and it through the whole chain out)

My pcb led strips have only 3 pin connector 5V DIN Ground. All psu, octopus and leds have shared /common ground. I intended to use leds as , a chamber light nothing RGB fancy so i connected all 3 led strips 5V together, all DIN is connected together and all ground is connected together. +5V and ground is connected to shared RPI4 5V psu and DIN is connected to PB6. My leds have out marked on pcb,no connector only soldering point on both side of the pcb. There is no IN connection at all. I contacted manufacturer but still waiting for reply. All i can say its a PCB RGB led strip with WS2812B Leds. I couldnt find any good wire diagram for this led kit.

Got it to work ,adjusted to 0.6 to get brightness to be ok. Current draw at 0.6 for all colors (white effect) 1.2A 54 leds. At 0,8 its 1.82A. Il stick with 0.6 as my RPI psu is only 5A total. I got a 14A 5V psu but no space to hide it 🙂

Have you got a mount for those light strips?

I'd like to fit them to my v2.4, but can't find a mount that I like.

Hi. Leds are mounted to the extrusions, you cant really see mounts they are small in size and compact. Here is the link for mount.

I hide the cables using this great mod

Thank you very much, I like that bracket solution. Neat and unobtrusive.
