Using a High Voltage Stepper Motor Setup?

Durahl

Question

So, I'm still optimizing my 350 sized V2.4 with essentially the last piece to add / arrive being a High Voltage Mean Well UHP-500-55 Power Supply for the Stepper Motors.

Electronics not exactly being my thing I'm kinda wondering about eventual side effects to look out for once the 60V rated BTT Kraken 5160 Drivers ( and Stepper Motors ) are being supplied with 55V instead of the current 24V.

My understanding of "higher" Electronics is basically limited to as Voltage goes up the requirement for Current ( hiding behind protective Brick Wall ) usually goes down? 🤔
Does that mean I could lower the run_current eventually reducing the Temperatures on both the Drivers and Motors while maintaining ( if not increasing ) their performance? 🤨

Just asking because running the 60V / 3.0A rated Steppers on 24V ( using the usual Driver Calculation ) required a bit of an Upgrade to keep their Temperatures in Check 🤣
