Voron 40% infill still the best for Functional Parts?

Question

Came across a very interesting video on infill patterns and structural strength. Made me wonder if 40% is really necessary after all.

According to above structural strength can be obtained with lower infill and higher wall count. Also interesting as to the types of infill to use. Something to think about for those concerned about filament usage and print times.

That is a good video. I would really like to see an infill test that looks at twisting loads, because printer parts are rarely loaded in only a single direction. This is why I moved from gyroid to cubic because it should transfer loads better to adjacent faces.

Thicker walls i.e. higher wall count provide the majority of print strength, I look at infil as an internal support.

I also changed from Gyroid to Cubic, 5 walls and 25% infill seems to be working out. Printed parts for the Fridge Door mod so will see if they hold up.
