Elegoo ASA

I've decided to try more different filaments. Elegoo is priced right around $15. Only comes in black or white. So I bought 4 rolls.

They come sealed with a desiccant, but the first roll put blisters all over and quite a bit of stringing. I don't have a filament drier but I live in a dry climate and I've printed with rolls sitting open a year later without issue.

(Elegoo top, Ambrosia bottom). Can't tell from pictures but the elegoo filament is slightly more matte. I went ahead and opened all but one roll of white to see if it helps. I'd toss it outside but I'd probably come back to a spool melted together...

I'll probably buy more of it, even just for test prints/prototyping before moving to a more expensive filament. Or anything that is getting refinished or sanded and painted. Filament drier might be next on the list if the blisters and stringing keep up.
