Florida 2.4 build

Recommended Posts

Ok Greetings to all who spend countless hours Building and Programming. I am new to the forum, have a couple of my own but not directed to the voron 2.4.

I am into a 350mm build, this will be my 12th machine build, all sizes, all controllers.  I have been using duet2 wifi as my controllers on (9) cr10 type builds. Then there are the cnc routers and plasma cutter builds.I even built a custom design from Michigan state, during covid they posted plans for a high temp printer, core x-y but hightemp chamber. I finished it but the overall design was to limiting, printing peek and a screw extruder that used pellets. At least it gave me something to do during the government takeover of my life, covid.

Now I have a love affair with duet, I have one 3' by 5' printer that is being developed for coral type medium that i used the raspbery pi duet3 6hc and so i have installed on on my voron

I'm really interested in canbus and the duet has great expand ability, this will give me more time using the interface and programming. Today i put the power to it and got it connected. The reprapfirmware is good, maybe not enough installers using it but the interface is the best, I can run many printers and control all of them from my terminal and wifi.

If it's not evident i am a scrap it together builder, reuse and custom fab when it saves a buck.

I will post again when i have it operational with the 1lc expansion board on the stealthburner working.  I'm finding it difficult to find other similar builds to learn from. Still a few  weeks to go for sure.
