I used these to retain wires running in the slot of the rail and to cover the slots around the bed and keep crud from building up in there. I have trouble sharing photos on this web site, so I provided a photo in a zip file. If you look at it, the retainer is the yellow stripe. These just pop into the slot. I provided the step file so you can print any length you like. They can be easily trimmed to size with a pair of shears.
