Just started this build still waiting on parts here is a few pics of the start of this build. I have 2 sets steppers cause im on the fence about which to use.

Did your spindle come with a cable to connect to the VFD or do you need to fabricate a cable? The first thing is to verify that your spindle is grounded to the spindle body. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the ground pin to the body. Some Chinese spindles aren't grounded to the body. I'm looking forward to following your build.

ill take a look and yes it came with a ribbon cable if thats the one your referring to

This cable from the spindle to the VFD. (Cable in the Blue loom)

Here is the info on connecting your VFD to the LDO expansion module.

J3 is set to amps by default it needs to be set to volts.
