Klipper install issue

Recommended Posts

Got my ldo trident kit ready for install. Get the sd card for the raspberry pi done and inserted.  SSH using putty and login with no trouble.

I can’t get KIAUH to install because it says it either can’t find it or I may not have permission. So I do it the old fashioned way.

I follow the scripts for maker the bin file to flash the octopus board but it continuously errors out and says I may not have a complete build. The errors it shows is that there is a clock skew problem. Other errors says the src and arc makefile files are set for future dates. I have redone everything and still get the same errors.

I have went ahead and flashed the octopus and logged in to mainsail and made my printer config, nitehawk config and beacon files. Going through and clearing all the errors in klipper, I restart and it says cannot connect to the mcu. But this message is in blue. So my thought is I have an incomplete klipper build flashed into the octopus. My update manager in mainsail won’t do anything either.

any ideas or suggestions on what to try next?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to use kiauh but it gave me issues. Wondering if it was my internet connection. The printer is in my shop at work and I’m having to use my phone as a hotspot. On bar, really slow. Maybe I’ll take it to the main office and run off the WiFi there and see if I have better luck.

after I get back from vacation.

thanks for the info

That’s what I’m leaning towards cause I didn’t have any problems with the 2.4 at home.  Guess I’ll pack it up and take it up to the main office to get good internet and give it another go. Did it the old fashioned way. Got the clock skew fixed. Now it won’t connect to the mcu. Blue screen error. So I’ll do a complete reprogram and see what happens when using kiauh.
