How to re-install .cfg files from Git

therm_virtual0y

Question

I have followed the steps to backup my  cfg files to a repository on GitHub and am wondering how to reinstall them after a Klipper update MCU error?  I see the https://github.com/Esoterical article and can get Klipper running again so do I just copy the cfg files and move them to the UI? I keep having trouble with autoz and KAMP not working correctly

I just download them from Github and then upload them through mainsail.

Do it as @TitusADuxass indicated, easy and hassle free,  or you can follow this guide - much more complicated though, but just for your info.

Ok thanks.  For some reason KAMP wasn’t working so I re-installed it and then just changed the KAMP settings folder to mine.  Works now though

Klipper now has adaptive bed meshing as a native function, no need for KAMP

BED_MESH_CALIBRATE ADAPTIVE = 1
