Oktopus 1.1 with Fysetc 2209 3.1

Is it possible to use Fysetc 2209 3.1 on a Oktopus 1.1 Board?

I hadn't heard of those. Some quick Googling says yes,but. It appears they will work, but it takes some effort to make the Fysetc stepper stick & Octopus talk to each other. IMHO, it's probably easier to just get the Octopus with the BTT step stick included as a package and call it done.
