Amazon Basics ABS

I have gone through a good few spools of the Amazon ABS filament but the last time I was able to order it was in Jan of 2023! Glad to see that it is finally back in stock. Their 5 spool pack is an even better deal at €17.05 / stück! It was also hard finding another brand with blue that matched theirs..

Nice... good to know Amazon Basics. At Amazon.de. It always is costly for me to have it shipped over to NL. And the Dutch Amazon sucks usually.

I have printed a lot of Geetech ABS and last Annual festivity AliExpress had good deals on their colored ABS stocked in their German Warehouse. I was able to get myself a good amount of ABS for quite a good price.

This order I could buy them for only 10 euros a kilo and now I have like @mvdveer a good stash of ABS to play with.

Outside the AliExpress discount events they are usually around 20 euros a kilo.

The quality I can assure that it is one of the best I ever used. It prints great and the quality is consistent between colors.

It might even be cheaper in your case since it ships from Germany 🙂

Sorry, off topic.

I have the same problem with pictures from my cell phone (Samsung). I have to open them in paint and then re-save them for the orientation to be correct.

No need to apologise, it's bugged me a few times. I just resize them and they look good. Then I post them and the orientation is wrong. I'll try your technique.

My favorite program for basic image tasks like sizing, cropping and rotating is FastStone Image Viewer. It has a lot of quick keyboard shortcuts and hover menus with plenty of other tools as well. It even runs well enough in Wine so I get to use it on Linux.

Well I ran through most of the Orca Calibration tools - there were no changes apart from Z height.

Strangely I had to lower Z by 0.03 before it even looked like it would stick to the bed.

And it looks like it could go a bit lower.

Still it printed okay and the result is more than acceptable.

I'll be buying more of it. This spool will be used for my VzBot accent parts.

@atrushing images edited and resized with Fast Stone. That's a nice piece of software. Thanks for the link.
