Cheap 3D printed pellet extruder

Recommended Posts

He explains the reasons that pellet extruders are not that common if you watch the video. But he is on a path to perfecting the tech for basic printer adaptation. I’m interested to see what he comes up with.

The more major quote for the video and this extruder is the simplicity and that he tells that it is not as perfect as a common 3d printer.

After realizing that if you go away from "must look perfect" this is a dam cheap way to print at low cost.

Even the color choice can be easy if you use master batches.

The only complicated thing is a recipe and a way to order the pellets. Most batches are sold in 20 or 50 kg and the master batch goes for about 1 to 5 kg.

But if you print loads of the same material it's a money saver.

It's just not that perfect

I'm following him just to se how it ends up.
