TAP CNC V2 wiring (if you cut them to use on board/canbus)

So the Chaoticlab CNC TAP V2 is pretty great if you ask me.

ITs optical now, lighter (MGN7) but still, stronger, more stable than a V1 version. well done.

But if you cut the wires to connect it to a canbus board, in my case a FLY36 v2, beware of the NOT logical colors of the wiring.

RED is 5-24V (also nice and so far predictable)

BLUE is - MINUS

BLACK is SIGNAL!

Makes no sense, but there you go, wiring the blue/black wrong wont damage the sensor, but it will stay RED constantly and wont trigger.

No documentation available, so I hope this is useful to someone.

Quick question about the V2 bracket. I'm interested and will get one when they're available again, but I am a little confused about the X limit switch.

On my printer, both the X and Y limit switches are mounted to something on the right side end of the X carriage, not on the toolhead itself.

Anyone come across this?

Also, regarding the wire colors, I see this in their manual:

"With the Black/Blue/Red variant please be
extra cautious not to confuse the signal and ground wires.
Ground is usually a black wire but in this variant it is a blue
wire with the signal being black. This variant is being phased
out in order to avoid confusion.

It was optical before. It used an optical microswitch that was really hard to source so, more than likely the reason why they swapped it out for the more ubiquitous sensor used on the OG Voron TAP.
