Not all painted area generates manual tree support problem?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to manually print support trees on certain areas of my 3D print, but not all of the painted area is generating the support it seems the steeper overhangs are. I don't understand why this would happen as it's suppose to be manual and print for only the shaded areas? Am i missing something ?

Even though it's manual... the slicer will still use the support settings like angle, etc. It just applies those settings in the area you painted, ignoring everything that isn't. Try farting around with the other settings. Sorry, you didn't say what slicer you're using so I can't give you specifics.
