Question
mbunjes
I bought a new heater core for my Rapido after I managed to brick the old one.
INstalled it and connected it to the SB2040 canboard. However on switching on the printer I immediately saw smoke and the temp read 300 degrees !
I measured the voltage on the heater connector of the SB2040 with the rapido disconnected and it read 24V. This can't be right.
I didn't change anything on my perfectly working Trident.
Everything connected to a Octopus 1.1 board
Update : I measured the new heater and it turned out to have a short that effectively toasted the mosfet on my SB2040. Phaetus has been contacted.
