Was wondering if anyone has tried this?  Pro's vs Con's ??

Interesting. 

I'll be watching this tech. It's definitely an inductive probe so it will require a metal build plate. Also... I remember when watching the Voron TAP presentation, they talked for a bit about inductive probes on PEI sheets and mentioned that an inductive probe reads the underlying metal sheet and not the PEI surface that is applied, noting that the coating can vary either a little or a lot depending on who applies the PEI coating. 

Here's a video of him attaching the device and calibrating. Actually it's quite impressive IMO.

I like how low profile the sensor part is! That makes it a lot more flexible with mounting options..

Progress it is - looks good - never heard of it. May be a bit fiddly to set up for noobs.

I ordered three from his tindie site. Shipping is a bit high and doing Klipper patching might be a pain. However, If I can resolve probing issues then I am ok with that.
