The epic saga of implementing CanBus



I picked up a Huvud board from Luke's and am trying to get it installed.  I am also trying to set it up so that it is able to be updated via the canbus connection.

I am using a Waveshare RPi canhat on an RPi 4.


I followed the steps in this video from eddiethe(apparently very stoned)engineer and I don't think I crossed any wires at any point but...


I am currently getting two red LEDs on the Huvud board.  I am not sure if it's just unhappy with something or if I have pooched it.  Can anyone with a bit more experience offer some advice on a way forward?
