RedWish 3 Posted December 30, 2022 Share No extra cooling, just the opening in the backplate of the door. Printing right now and temp for the toolhead is 69.5c steady so everything is good to go. Toolhead was getting hot on the stepper but had that turned down to 0.56A (still enough power but not heating up so much). Since the EBB36 is smaller, as is the Nema 14, i think it will not generate as much heat as the Nema 17/EBB42 combo. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Yep, the fan just forces some airflow throu, the stepper and PCB gets hot as my temperature inside the enclosure reaches easy 60 deg celsius.
