Filament made in the USA.

Fusion Filaments takes pride in creating the highest quality, no compromise filament. Unlike many other manufacturers, we don't use fillers to save on costs. Unfortunately, this practice is extremely widespread in the industry and common printing profiles are set up to print this cheap filament. We hope this FAQ helps new Fusion Filaments customers spin up on the important differences when printing with our high quality products!

What's the deal with these guys? Are they connected to Atomic, because their websites look almost identical. I see Fabreeko carries a couple of their colors, and they offer an ABS 1.5 and 2.0, whatever that means exactly, but it seems they are always out of inventory.

when a website doesn't explain version numbers, it means stay away (my personal view). I remember a "filament producer" back in the early days (maybe 4 to 5 years ago). Lots of hype, but their filament was not great. Their website looked like a My Pillow ad. They simply disappeared one day. When it sounds too good it probably is and the prices are 50% higher than similar products that I have had no issue with (sunlu, hatchbox, even Amazon).

Well, the price is higher as its made in the USA, which is important to me (albeit it with imported resin). I try and avoid products that don't employ American workers whenever possible, which is hard to do in this field. Yes some/many of the Amazon brands print ok, but that said, when I print Atomic and KvP its definitely a superior product. Is it worth the premium? To me it is, not only because its a better product, but also because I'm avoiding Amazon and supporting American small business. As far as Fusion is considered, Fabreeko carries it, which to me says its probably worth looking into, as they only carry high quality products.
