Hi. New here and been reading a little bit here and since I am one of little patience, I barged in for some advice. I got a snapmaker artisan over a year ago and have progressed even slower than imagined. Trying to learn 3d printing, design, and how to use forums like these has exposed many weaknesses that I didn't know I had. But one I probably will never overcome is selfishness and I have arrived here with the intentions of getting help and probably giving very little, apologies ahead of time. I posted my question on a thread that I will most definitely struggle to find again and for safety's sake I'll ask it here as well. I have a long filament run and was wondering what people might have done to help get the filament to the print head. I read through some posts on here from a guy that put together some buffers and it looked enticing. Any advice on where to look on here would be appreciated and any magical answers that solve all my life problems would be appreciated just a little bit more. Anyways happy to find this forum and thanks for having me.

Welcome and no, you're not selfish for asking - we are all to happy to help. I have put together some links to your post and that of the buffer you mentioned.

Filament buffering question   - posted by you in general discussion

Mellow Fly LLL Plus Filament buffer - posted by myself in build diaries

Faster printing requiring filament Buffer - posted by @NikosSprocket in general discussion

For your questions - I am sure they will be answered in the thread you posted

Welcome @TonyN!

I will speak for myself, but It takes time, practice, and a few (lot!) spools of filament to get your printer tuned. Also, sometimes you need a village to figure out what's wrong with your prints/printer!

Have fun!
