There are many ways to convert it to CNC. You need to decide which parts you're going to keep. Which CNC controller are you going to use, and what control firmware? Do you have access to a CNC mill to fabricate parts? You need to add two stepper motors and a mounting bracket, ballscrews, ballscrew bearing supports, endstops, and some type of enclosure to mount the electronics.

Do you have the skills to drill, tap, wire, and program the electronics components?
