BTT RELAY

So after weeks of frustration ,i finaly got this piece of shit to work , to get it to shut down easy as ,to get it to reset the state when rebooting not so much fun .

So i can now manualy call "shutdown printer after print  " or RELAY_OFF " at the end of a print ,and bypass if not selected .

also a Shut down with temp check ,abort if above set point ,and a force shutdown without checking temps .

Yes its a small thing but i didnt give up ,as much as i wanted to throw it out the window . no help to the BTT Website or documentation .

Yes for sure ,wiring pretty straight forward ,i am useing a Octopus 1.1 board and PE11 is the defualt pin for "SHUTDOWN" as far as wiring just the middle twin wires to PE11 and the reset pin wired to a momentary switch ,other end as per documentation ,i didnt mess around with 5 v detect or power loss , will include all .cfgs you can merge them or just take out what you need . *** note the way the pin is defines for your relay is important or it will keep turning its off and not reseting ***  this will give you a manual macro to turn off after print ,and a forced shut down as well . enjoy

I've found Chinese "documentation" to be spotty at best, and abysmal or even non-existent at worst.  I do far better getting answers with google searches and/or in forums like this one, or just rolling up my sleeves and digging into it.

I have a BTT Relay 1.2 sitting in my "project" drawer that I keep looking at, but having looked at the "documentation" it's likely to stay in that drawer for some time to come.  How'd you get it to work?

EDIT: Never mind, there were no replies to your original post when I first read it, and by the time I had posted my reply, I saw mafe72's request and your reply.  Thanks!

yes i find forums a wealth of knowledge when people want to share instead of selfish.

let me know how you find it and what bugs you find ,i just set up macro buttons on mainsail and it does its thing ,to lazy to type commands

have M81 ,Force M81 ,relay on ,relay off ,and check relay status ,as buttons .its incorperated in my print end macro .so you will need a few of the variables as well to get it working .i tried to use time and temps as well ,and it got to complex when it failed and had to use loops to recheck .

Fixed files for BTT SHUT down Relay . Fixed error on display and added by pass control ,was easier to keep in seperate .cfg ,not if you cancel cooldown you must request before it enters cycle ,will now hold temps pre set via slicer or from macros .
