She is moving under her own steam. The boat is still rigged for silent running and making progress toward test-depth...  LOL The old submariner is taking it cautious with the new boat.

X, Y, and Probe (TAP/Z) endstops are functioning.  Performed a home test on each axis, and had to change the direction pin for X and Y directions.  Z moved in the correct direction.  Yay!  Performed a Home All and everything worked as intended.  PIDs performed on HE and Bed. All fans work as they should. Some lighting issues, but that was easily solved.

Woke up this morning to a locked up V2.4 gantry.  No idea what is up yet but it is acting like a belt jumped or a pully is locked up. Sigh.....   I don't have time to tear into it at the moment so the "CR10 Smart XL in a tent" is back in service printing the last few parts needed before the Trident can start printing ABS/ASA etc.

Hopefully nothing too serious.

B-Drive Motor bearings are shot.  Guess I will order 2 because I bet the A-Drive motor will not be far behind.  I will replace both, and keep the current A-Drive motor as a backup.  Oh well, nothing like getting a new printer, and the old one decides to "wet the bed" so to speak.  No multicolor prints for Cap'n America until the 2.4 is repaired.

V2.4 is back together.  Doing a shakedown and then will resume printing multi-color parts.

As for the Trident, I have Printer mostly done but a few things still need to be done.  Nevermore is installed and I am now working on panels. Back panel is installed, as is exhaust housing and fan.  I will get a couple of pics uploaded soon.

OK, it is mostly done and in a place where I can try a first print.  I still have some itemss printing to finish things up, like inserts for the canopy that I plan on alternating red/white like a waving flag...  and some Stars I showed earlier...  but I am fairly happy with how things have settled in at this point.  Super pleased with the inverted electronics mentioned by @mvdveer and clarified by a few others, and it has come in handy a couple of time already... what a game changer.  Thanks for following along.  I will post one final set of pics once I get all the other pieces in place.

Best

Nick

OK, doing the user name & date as a print & not a note on paper is just showing off. 😆😜

I did a piece of paper too, 😛 as is required by the community info for requesting a serial.  I have just been "extra" on this thing so just decided to do what I had seen others do and add some flair to my "cereal" request. 🙂  This has been a creative STRETCH for me.
