Retired Electrical Engineer with way too many 3D printers - currently 10 !!  Came here because of the article about accurately measuring hotend temperature with a skinny K-type thermocouple probe.

Printers: Tevo Tarantula(currently a pile of parts), Ender 3 Pro, Ender 5 Pro, 2 - Monoprice Mini Delta's(surprisingly fast buggers), Geeetech A20(also a pile of parts), Ender V2(another pile of parts), Ender V3 KE, Ender V3 SE, and a Sovol SV04 IDEX.

The SV04 has been my most used, and most reliable printer for ease of use and results.

Welcome to the forum. I had four Artillery X1S that I turned into a pile of parts. Start to build a Trident with the extrusion.

The Artillery Sidewinder X1 gets pretty good reviews.  What was your objection to this basic printer, that made you decide to cannibalize 4 of them for parts ??

@billbrach The print quality was nowhere near my two Vorons, plus I wasn't using them. Bed levelling drove me crazy, even with a Z probe.

Thanks for the info.  Must be a lot of people like them, because there are none for sale on eBay.  Lots of used POS Enders; I've been down that route !!  Would love to have a Voron, but don't have the time or inclination to build one LOL
