Hello from Oregon

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

My printers are a Prusa MK4s and a Voron 2.4 300 (SN 5365). My first printer was a printrbot simple metal. I wish I kept it. Currently building a Voron 0.2 (formbot kit). Getting pretty frustrated with the kirigami bed for the 0.2 so I'm trashing it for the fysetc 1 piece bed. Problem is I get smooth movement on the z axis until I attach the Z nut holder and it binds. Spent hours fiddling with it but gave up.

That jogged a memory. I now recall that some people reported the Kirigami piece wasn't bent correctly & took some fiddling to get those back tabs all aligned correctly. I wonder if yours has that issue.

Glad that it's moving smoothly for you now.

Yeah I like the metal bed option better even though it's a bit heavier. It's probably comparable to the original bed with extrusions. Fortunately, West3D is only a 20 minute drive from here and they had it in stock. I'm also using an MGN9C X rail.

Belted up!
