Milo V1.5 Mill CNC Pendant from Mellow

Mellow has assembled a pendant for the Millennium Machine, Milo V1.5 works with the Fly CDYV3 and the BTT Scylla motherboards.

They've done a nice job of making a single circuit board from all the components needed in this mod and flashed the Arduino with the pendant software.

 

I will change the cabling to the Scylla motherboard and add a strain relief to the pendant case. They could have made a better effort in that aspect. I'll also confirm the wiring to the Scylla I/O connector when I receive the pendant.

Changed out the poorly installed power and signal cable. Install a strain relief, a new 3-pin 2.54 connector and accordion cable.

Wiring the pendant to the Scylla motherboard 5v and Gnd from IO-IN and the Signal wire UART PD9 (RX). (Note: I have a 5V PS so be connection %v and Grd to that.)

If anyone follows my builds, you know I have a hard time leaving anything stock . 

This is the stock base and face plate

I've reprinted the base to match the Milo colours, and the faceplate has raised letters, also changed out the Phillips head for button head.

The plan is that when Milo is ready to make some chips, I'll be doing an aluminum faceplate.

Got the pendant connected to the BTT Scylla board today, used the I/O 5V/Grd to + and - of the pendant and PD9 UART to the pendant TRX.

Moving the pendant e-stop to the top of the body, as you can see in the video, makes it too easy to trigger the e-stop button in its present location.
